The Ministry of Environment(MOENV) of the Executive Yuan established the "Construction Inspection Team" on October 1, 2002, in accordance with the "Organizational Guidelines for Construction Inspection Teams" issued by the Public Construction Commission. The team is convened by the Deputy Director-General, and its operation is currently managed by the Environmental Inspection Division.
Since its establishment, the Construction Inspection Team of the MOENV has consistently upheld a non-compromising and in-depth inspection approach. In recent years, the main targets of inspection have included a variety of construction projects, such as water quality and water environment improvement projects, landfill revitalization projects, high-quality public toilet projects, open space greening projects, and environmental office and building equipment improvement projects. In addition, the MOENV actively recruits experienced and professional inspectors to diagnose construction problems and detect and correct them early, thus truly improving construction quality.
This work is mainly based on Article 70 of the Government Procurement Act, the Organizational Guidelines for Construction Inspection Teams, the Operation Guidelines for Construction Inspection Teams, the Performance Evaluation Guidelines for Construction Inspection Teams, the Operation Guidelines for Public Construction Quality Management, and the Performance Evaluation Guidelines for Public Construction Disaster Prevention Inspection Teams
